Quadrille Dress
The quadrille dress is a typical dress worn mostly by women in Caribbean countries, which is also a 'traditional garment' of countries like Jamaica, Haiti and Dominica. Although the quadrille dress has different names in theses countries, however it is mostly worn during the quadrille dance.

Haitians often call the quadrille dress a 'Karabela dress' and it is even worn by men traditionally to attend formal functions like Wedding. In Jamaica, the quadrille dress is known as 'bandana skirt' and it is worn with a type of blouse all made with cotton.
As the years went by, the quadrille dance is danced in just shows not as traditional as it used to be. Touring round the globe, we hope exploring the quadrille dress might give you some bits of interest.
